Flooded basement
This flooded basement in Bellingham, MA was the result of a pipe break, causing about 6 inches of water throughout the finished basement. The first task at hand for the crew was to extract all the water, so they would be able to remove the rug and padding. They then carefully opened the walls cutting at about the 4' inch of flood line. Carefully they removed the wet and heavy insulation exposing the studs to the air. Once they had completed this they placed a dehumidifier to start extracting water away from the studs and adding fans for drying. The drying was completed in 3 days.
